Entry information

All competitors need to have qualified to enter the National Championships by obtaining 350 points (300 points for competitors choosing the accessibility option and 300 for Junior handlers under 18) at a Regional Championships. There are a limited number of places available in the pre-qualifier rounds for competitors who were not able to attend their Regionals or an alternative Region’s championships. Permission must be obtained to enter these pre-qualifier rounds by application to the National Steering Committee before close of Nationals entries. The form may be downloaded here. Nationals entries open Saturday June 8, 2024 and close Tuesday July 2, 2024 at 23:59 PST.

If you are entering multiple dogs, they MUST ALL be entered at the same time. It is not possible to go back to the site to edit your entry once it has been submitted.

Other competitors or dogs being awarded a bye will be eligible to enter the National Championships without the need to qualify via any Regional Championship qualifying event. Normal National Championship entry fees will apply. These are:

Dogs who have achieved their Lifetime Achievement Award or Lifetime Versatility Award

Handler/Dog teams that competed at the 2023 IFCS WAC event

Regional Championships Chairperson and their dogs

Junior Stakes

The event will be open to all junior handlers 18 years old and under on 31 December 2024. 

Novice Stakes

This Division will be limited to the ages of 12 and under.

The Novice Stakes will be judged under the AAC Advanced Junior handler rules

Open Stakes

This Division will be limited to the ages of 13 – 18 years of age. 

The Open Stakes will be judged under the AAC Masters Junior handler rules.
